Integrative Counsellor

Are relationships feeling particularly difficult at the moment and you're struggling to understand them?

Perhaps things you previously enjoyed have lost their meaning?

You could be ruminating about the past, worried about the future, or suffer with anxiety, depression, or have addiction or anger issues?

Maybe you have endured emotional, physical or sexual abuse; or are dealing with loss, a bereavement, or having an existential crisis/spiritual emergency?

How I can help
I offer a safe, confidential, therapeutic counselling space for you to talk, think and explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns. Think of it as somewhere where you can be how you need to be, say what you need to say, and feel what you need to feel.

I offer both long-term and short-term counselling to adults either face to face or online. I will work with you to help discover the source of your problems and find the courage and strength to face them.

While therapy is a collaboration it is important to remember that you are the expert on you. My role is more like walking alongside you, rather than leading the way. I am here to help you make sense of your challenges and edge you towards the holy grail of therapy – self-acceptance.

How I work
As a therapist I will be interested to hear about your experiences, your relationships and how you view yourself and the world around you. It can be helpful to explore any recurring patterns in your life and how past experiences may be holding you back. In exploring different aspects of yourself and your life, I'll help you to gain insight and consider new perspectives to help you find a way forward. I have experience working with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, low self-worth, family conflict, self-harming, trauma, and relationship issues.
