Rosanna Singler

Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor

I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, with several years’ experience working privately and in the voluntary sector. I can provide short, medium, long-term and open-ended therapy to adults (including face to face, online zoom video, or telephone counselling).

I have experience of supporting people with:

-       Relationship difficulties (including family, romantic partners and work)
-       Grief and coping with change
-       Trauma
-       Suicidal thoughts
-       Issues of identity (particularly around sexuality, gender presentation and disability)
-       Loneliness and disconnection
-       Anxiety and depression

How I work
My approach is accepting and supportive to enable you to safely and creatively explore what it is you are struggling with. We can all become stuck or disconnected at times, as we strive to keep moving through life steadily. I believe that therapy can help us slow down for a moment, feel safe enough to re-connect with ourselves. It is then possible to reflect and discover what it is our bodies are telling us we need to move towards change or to feel freer in ourselves.

As someone who identifies as bisexual, I have a particular interest in LGBTQIA+ issues. I have worked with clients who want an affirmative space in which they can explore their sexuality, relationships and relationship with their gender(s). In the society we live, it can be difficult to relate positively to ourselves when we feel we live outside of the ‘norm’ (whether it be our age, race, class and disability or a combination). Working affirmatively with however one identifies is essential.

My training
I trained at the acclaimed Metanoia Institute in which I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and diploma in Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling.

I am registered and accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and follow its code of ethics and practice.
